Born in Michigan, Neta Lohnes Frazier has spent most of her life in the Spokane area. She graduated from Whitman College and taught English in Waitsburg, WA. During the 1930s she worked for the Spokane Valley Herald and began her fiction writing career. She has more than a dozen books and many articles to her credit.
